Inside The Wall

24 minute docudrama.  Writer/Producer/Casting/Location Mgr./Caterer
This short film follows a camp of homeless men as they struggle to get off the street.  Filmed in San Diego, CA. Post-production was completed with co-producer Sara Diamond of THE BANFF CENTRE FOR THE ARTS.  Based on a week spent living with the homeless of Venice Beach. Has screened at several short film festivals and film schools.


Television Projects in Development:

In the Cold
of the Sun

Documentary investigating the people behind the various autonomous homes, solar homes and communities being built in Southern Alberta. Focus is on Drakes Landing, the largest solar development in North America. Development funding received from CTV to complete research. Producers White Iron TV, Calgary.

The Ancestor
(multimedia)

An alien/Native American hybrid is mankind’s only protection from invasion by aliens hoping to enslave mankind. With the help of his tribe’s Shaman, he must discover who he is and perform ancient rituals to protect the Earth. Development funding received from Movie Central. Locations have been scouted, and a budget set.
This feature is the pilot for a series, and model for online game.  Looking for producers/broadcasters.

Gawain’s Garden

Children’s TV series for ages 8-11, hosted by an Irish Gardener/Wizard.   Pitch This! Finalist at The Banff Television Festival, June 2004.  Looking for producers/broadcasters.

A Faerie Rade

Children’s Fantasy – a young boy enlists the help of a Faeries from Middle Earth to rescue a group of kidnapped children being held by the Unseelie Court (mythical creatures found in British Folklore).  This is the first in a trilogy. Book form is being submitted to publishers. Has received interest in England and Japan, as well as the U.S.

Gold Dust

Adventure/romance/drama – set during and after the Klondike Gold Rush, this is the true story of a man who survived the deadly All Canadian Route to the Yukon from Edmonton, and the woman who heals him.
TFI - Best Feature Screenplay presented at the ampia Awards 2000
TIFF – Made top 12 semi-finalist list for “Pitch This”, Fall 2004

Art of Life

Drama – a young woman and her son care for a famous artist who is trapped in the memory of his past in the concentration camps of Yugoslavia. Inspired by Toza Radakovich (see below).
